Blair T. Carlson, is the founder and director of GoodWORD Partnership, established in 2005. The son of missionary parents in China, at birth he was given the Chinese name Ga Po Chuen, which means “preach good things around the world.” This name became foundational in his call to evangelism. From 1974 to 2000, he worked with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, spending eighteen of those years as an International Crusade Director responsible for organizing many of Dr. Graham’s evangelistic outreaches outside of the United States. Blair is ordained in the Church of England (Anglican), and served as a pastor in the UK from 2003 to 2005. From 2006 to 2010, he served as Congress Director for Cape Town 2010 sponsored by the Lausanne Movement. Through GoodWORD, Blair serves as a coach to national leaders who have a vision for evangelism in their region of the world, empowering them to bring their desire for evangelistic outreach into reality, with a strong emphasis on contextualization as well as preparation and follow-up within the local church. GoodWORD has partnered with believers on almost every continent.
Blair makes his home in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two daughters.
